Safesqace is built by the community, for the community. These terms are the deal for using it: short, and in plain language.

who can use it

• You must be 18 or older.
• One account per person. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you're responsible for what happens on your account.
• Businesses must be real and must be who they say they are. We verify every business before it goes public, and we can ask for more proof at any time.

what you post

• Businesses own what they post (events, updates, flyers, photos). By posting, you give Safesqace permission to show it in the app and on safesqace.app, and to let people share it, for as long as it's up.
• Only post what you have the right to post: your own photos and flyers, or ones you have permission to use.
• Keep event details accurate: dates, places, prices and ages should match what people will find when they show up.

no tolerance for abuse

There's no place on Safesqace for hate, harassment, explicit sexual content, scams or anything else our rules don't allow. We check images automatically, anyone can report a business, event or update, and our team reviews every report. We remove content that breaks the rules, and we suspend or remove businesses and accounts that keep breaking them. You can block any business; it disappears for you and isn't told. If we remove something of yours, we'll tell you which rule it broke, and you can appeal.

events and tickets

Events are run by the businesses that post them, not by Safesqace. Tickets are sold on the business's own site; we're not part of that sale. Check the details with the business, and go out safely.

the service

• Safesqace is free. We may change or stop features, and we'll tell you in the app before anything big changes.
• We provide the app as it is, and we're not responsible for events, businesses or what other people post. To the extent the law allows, our responsibility to you is limited to what you've paid us, which is nothing.
• Your privacy is covered by our privacy policy.

ending

You can delete your account at any time in the app (You → Delete account). We can suspend or close accounts and businesses that break these terms or our rules.

changes

If we change these terms, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app if the change matters. California law applies.
